Cycling clothing size chart

Based on the following body measurements you can see which clothing sizes we wear ourselves. The dimensions are indicated per person.

Nick, in the wild.

Came into contact with a cyclist by setting a sports goal again after my hernia operation. This became a 1/8th triathlon. Swimming, mmm..no, running, mmm goes, Cycling, hey that's fun! So now about four years of recreational cycling and never participated in a triathlon again 😉 My back has also recovered well and I'm still playing soccer most Saturdays. I compensate the third half with a ride on Sunday. Not a lightweight with my 196 cm and 98 kilos and hope to lose a few kilos this summer.

Niels, in person.

In my youth I was mainly active in the skating and rollerblading world. Going cycling to keep the condition somewhat up to standard. Soon the first two were released and the focus was put on cycling. Competed in various criteria and classics, but as a newcomer, the nightlife and a group of friends was also interesting and my cycling career ended at the end of my teenage years.
Since corona managed to pick up the mountain bike and cycling again, although the latter may not have a name yet. Still, the sport continues to pick up and I can now combine cycling & friends! Ready for a new flight as we call it at Le Heron, a blitz package should of course not be missing. Unfortunately a size larger than usual, but that should not spoil the fun!

Daniel, sit right here.

Never touched a road bike until recently. Like many
others became addicted to cycling during the corona period. After a busy day at work, you can empty your head in the open air and preferably with good company. Soon the sports goal "bartje200" came to the side, suffering 200 km on the mountain bike. After investing some Saturdays in the condition, the goal is reached and a super nice experience richer. All in all, the fun in cycling is far from lost and I hope to make many flying hours!

Chiel, prof erased.

Chiel, former Prof. Now full time enjoyer. In an earlier life always lived for the sport. Started early, just like my brother Niels, with rollerblading and skating and, like him, keeping the condition up with cycling. Having to stop rollerblading and skating due to a nasty injury, it sucks at that moment, but afterwards it has resulted in many beautiful moments. When I was 18 I was admitted to the stable of the Northern Cycling Association Groningen (NWVG), home of Sven Kramer and Kjeld Nuis, among others. The cycling went very well and I regularly won races, which was noticed by the continental team Jo Piels, at that time the biggest and best semi-pro team in the Netherlands! Until I was 23 I cycled at this level until at one point I was in China for a month and thought “is this what I want for the rest of my life?, always away from home, alone in a hotel room?” my answer to that was no! Another chapter of my life had begun, from full-time top athlete to full-time epicurean. By now I have gained 15 kg, taken every party, beer and a cigarette I won't say no to anymore. But never lost sight of cycling, the heron in me is still there, even with a coffee round at 25 km / h on average.
