Our flight

Le Hēron connects nature with the world of cycling. Racing like a heron has never been so literal. Translated from French , Le Hēron literally means “the heron”. This beautiful bird radiates both strength and tranquility. With its beautiful details, we see it as a real status symbol. Details carried over into the design of the shirt.

Where it started.

Our passion for cycling originated during the corona period. For days, weeks, months we all sat at home waiting for corona to blow over. All in all, it has brought us little except for the passion for cycling!

All 4 of us started cycling fanatically again, especially in the beginning on the MTB to train for a 200 km long MTB trip. Then it quickly turned to the road bike. Fun, sporty and especially with friends / acquaintances on the balmy summer evenings we did a nice round of cycling more and more often.

For example, the 4 of us not only saw each other in the pub on weekends, but we also cycle regularly. With a little more experience, newly purchased bicycles, we did a good job in the region. We cycled like real pros, we thought, first with one leg and then with the other.

Where are we floating now.

After wearing some cycling clothing, we still missed a few things about the perfect cycling clothing. Often quality or the fit was not quite as expected. Soon the idea came jokingly to start designing clothes myself. No sooner said than done.

After some samples, fabrics, fits and adjustments, we managed to find a great combination. The clothes were round, now the name. Suddenly an anecdote from Chiel & Pascal Eenkhoorn surfaced; ''You have to cycle like a heron; first with one leg, then with the other''. Translate this into French and Le Heron was born!
